Branthill Farm enjoys the distinctive coastal climate of North Norfolk which helps extend the natural ripening process, giving the malt a superior quality for these superb real ales and Malt Coast craft beer. It is one of the best places on the planet for growing malting barley.

Barley to Beer…

Branthill Farm’s ‘Barley to Beer’ Micro-Maltings is adjacent to The Real Ale Shop and shows the malting process on a small scale so that the grain’s journey from barley field to beer glass can be followed each step of the way ending with heat from solar panels being used to sustainably ‘finish off’ the malt.
