We are planning to reopen our sites on July the 4th, inline with current government policy. We have risk assessed the sites and made some changes to allow for the maximum safety for our campers. This looks a little different at each site, so below there's a run down of what each site is doing differently this year.
Booking - we have made things easier by cutting the upfront payment - it's now down to a 20% deposit, with the balance to be paid 10 days before you are due to arrive - and we are offering total flexibility on moving the date if you can't make it. We are really lucky at Mannington as we have a lot of space on the glamping field, which is in itself a good 3 acres, and is surrounded by big wild open space. We usually run with 10 tents here. We will have 10 up but are reducing capacity to 6 over the weekend, and 4 during the week, which will enable us to leave the tents for 72 hours after each check out for maximum safety. We will be providing hand sanitising solutions within and outside of the bathrooms. We have 6 loos and 3 showers. We will be closing the field shelter and sauna and will be running a contactless check in service - but will be on the end of the phone if needed. Arrival days will be Friday and Monday. You can now pre-order your firewood when booking to save on cash payments. For stays of 7 days or more please get in touch first.
We operate a small glamp site, containing just 8 units, within a woodland setting on a large country estate with plenty of space for roaming around. The tents themselves are spaced well apart. We are looking to provide hand sanitising stations outside of each bell tent, so each tent has their own. They will also be within the loos and communal areas. To maximise the safety of each of our guests, we will be using an anti-microbial fogging machine in the tents after each check out to really deep clean. The communal areas will have additional cleaning. We have 3 loos and 3 showers within individual units and are open to the elements which helps a great deal. I hope this helps relieve any anxieties about coming to glamp with us. Arrival days - any except Sunday. 3 night min during Summer hols.
Hopton Court Estate
The Ridings at Hopton Court Estate is a HUGE secluded woodland clearing within the Hopton estate. The tents and campers have masses of wild space for exploring and relaxing. Each tent has its own wet room bathroom /toilet - making safety here much easier to manage. We will be deep cleaning the tents after each stay. Arrival days - flexible, just 2 nights min.
We are really lucky at Bell's Farm as we have a lot of space on the glamping field, which is in itself a good 4 acres, and is surrounded by orchards. We will space the 6 tents out so they have at least 10m between. We will be providing hand sanitising solutions within and outside of the bathrooms. We have 3 loos and 3 showers for 6 tents each as separate units. The tents will have a deep clean with certified sprays after each guest and left to air after check out. I hope this helps relieve any anxieties about coming to glamp with us. Arrival days flexible, just 2 nights min.
We usually operate 6 tents here - we will still have 6 tents, but are running just at the weekends, allowing each tent to 'air' and make safe for 72 hours after each guest. We have 2 loos and 2 showers in individual units at Wiveton so although they are shared, you'll be on your own whilst using the shower or loo. We will be providing hand sanitising solutions within and outside of the bathrooms. We will be enabling a contactless check in service - but we are always at the end of the phone if needed. You can now pre-order your firewood when booking to save on cash payments. Arrival days Friday. For stays of 7 days or more please get in touch first.
Other notes - We will not be providing travel cots this year.
