Mannington Minnows

Minnows and Hawks Nature Club helps your kids get back to nature and get up close and personal with all that is wild on the Mannington Estate.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays in the holidays, this grass roots club offers local children the opportunity to experience the diverse natural environment at Mannington – learning about the special species and specimens that make this place unique.

There are days exploring the water species on the site, in the ponds, water meadows and moat, with cray fishing, and pond dipping, and of course keeping an eye out for the otters.  There’s also fire lighting and beginners bush craft in one of the many woodland settings.  Tree identification and den building in the arboretum, and wild fruits and foraging.

Every day combines some educational learning with fun games in the landscape and woodland crafts....a great addition to your North Norfolk glamping holiday!

The club is run by the on-site conservation estate manager Andy Watson and his assistants - who are always qualified environmentalists.
