Our 6 metre deluxe bell tents are fabulously roomy.   At 12' high in the centre, there's plenty of wiggle room, and with a massive 6 metre diameter, they provide a palatial pad for two, a perfect nest for a couple's retreat, plentiful room for a family of four with still enough space for 5, for larger groups and families. Little Massingham also has three tents on decks in the dell.

If you're new to bell tent camping, the benefits are not just in size.  Camping under natural cotton canvas is a completely different experience to the standard polyester tent to sleep in.  No waking up feeling parched and sweaty....The breathable nature of the material, together with the four ceiling vents the tents have, means you are actually sleeping in the fresh air. The vents and the main door have a separate bug screen, allowing the air to circulate through the tent, which all in all is very conducive to a good night's rest.

Inside Ambers Bell Tents

To keep your cosy tent comfortable inside throughout your stay, we've provided a large bell tent awning, creating a shelter for boots, cooking, and maybe some star gazing.

There's a fixed double bed in each tent, and up to 3 singles - (larger families, please get in touch). The double beds are with proper mattresses and the single camp beds are a traditional canvas based set up (very firm).  All are made up with double duvets and pillows with 100% cotton sheets and pillow cases.

You are welcome to bring additional toppers for the camp beds.  Spare blankets will be supplied for those cooler nights.

There are apple crates to use as bed side tables, centre table or storage, and cushions.  An led lamp is supplied with either a winder or solar power. There is an intent off grid cooler to keep things chilled and a freezer on site for cool packs.  2 large provided for each box.

Kitchen box

Keeping it stylish, there will also be a crate of vintage inspired cooking and dining ware,  as follows... enamel dining ware, plate, bowl and mug for each person,  cooking pots, frying pan, kettle, tea/coffee pot, spatula, wooden spoons, serving spoons, colander,, bottle opener, peeler, cutlery, scourer, tea towel.  Also some basic provisions - salt, pepper, tea, oil and marshmallows.  If we've forgotten anything, please let us know.

Each tent will be provided with a fire pit which also doubles up as a bbq, for your culinary camping  creations.  Fire starting kit and some wood for the first night supplied.  More can be picked up from the honesty shop. For seating, there's a 6 seater wooden picnic table for each tent as well as some log seating around the fire.  Feel free to bring camping chairs if desired.
